WM Group sets new standard in the logistics sector with opening in Greven

The WM Group, a major player in the logistics business with its roots in Bocholt, recently opened its latest logistics centre at Aconlog Park in Greven opened. This new facility, with an impressive 40,000 square metres of space, marks a significant step in the company’s expansion strategy. Of this total space, 15,000 square metres are currently still available for interested tenants.

For more than 70 years, WM Group has been a major player in the logistics industry, known for its reliability and innovation. The new facility in Greven, together with the previous expansion in Voerde, where an additional 30,000 square metres of hall space increased capacity to a total of 150,000 square metres, illustrates the company’s ambition to be a leader in the Contract logistics to stay.

The centre in Greven, which not only serves industries such as E-Commerce, DIY store and luxury goods, but was designed as a versatile storage solution, offering state-of-the-art high-bay warehouses and flexible mezzanine areas. These are suitable for a wide range of industries and requirements, from industrial goods to consumer goods.

The importance of the new centre for the local economy was emphasised at the opening ceremony, which was attended by many local dignitaries, including the mayor and representatives of the economic development agency, as well as key customers and project partners. Dirk Haarmann, the mayor of Voerde, particularly praised the WM Group’s commitment to creating new jobs and strengthening the regional infrastructure.
