WM GROUP's new multi-user warehouse space in Bocholt (opening August 2025)

New multi-user warehouse space in Bocholt: 25,000 m² for future-orientated, sustainable logistics with WGK space

Bocholt, 3 April 2025. From August 2025 opens the WM GROUP in Bocholt a state-of-the-art multi-user site. On a total of 25.000 m² a logistics centre is being built that is consistently designed for efficiency, sustainability and flexible use. The property was developed by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) with the Gold seal excellent.

    The architecture combines a customised Build-to-suit solution with high Third-party usability - Ideal for changing utilisation requirements.

Sustainability & energy efficiency

  • Air-to-air heat pumps for efficient heating and cooling - without fossil fuels
  • Planned photovoltaic system (2 MWp) for a sustainable power supply
  • 24,000 tonnes Reused demolition material
  • 1,237 tonnes Recycled steel and iron
  • EU taxonomy-compliant recycling rate: 98 % - Significant CO? reduction in new builds
    The project was realised in cooperation with Aconlog Projektentwicklung GmbH.

Optimised logistics processes & safety

  • 26 Ramp gates, 2 ground-level doors, 3 jumbo gates
  • 54 car parking spaces, 5 lorry parking spaces
  • Special WGK areas (suitable for lithium-ion batteries, among others) for the highest safety standards - attractive for companies in the electromobility and energy storage industry.

About the project developer

The Aconlog Project Development GmbH (Cologne) is responsible for the construction of the multi-user site. Aconlog focuses on the revitalisation of industrial and logistics properties and the development of brownfield sites - with clear standards for sustainable construction.
